  This is a very hyped and overrated brasserie. It is crazily popular in NYC but in Europe there are many like this. I feel the food was average but the atmosphere is always good. I was disappointed with my cappuccino because it was boiling hot and for the price I expected better quality. Food is good but not amazing. The great thing about this place is you can pop in for coffee and pastries or just go for dessert. Service is charming if you are in a big group but if you go on your own I feel they do not pay as much attention.

  Ugh, Balthazar Bakery- my sweet sweet 5 minute escape from our concrete jungle. Delicious rye whole wheat bread. This past visit I tried their orange brioche and was not disappointed. Please expand locations !!

  If you like pastries, this is a must go. I'm not big on suites, but My girlfriend loved it. This place is great. There is a restaurant ( which we walked into) and the next door bakery. We visited the bakery and left happy. You can also currently find their treats at The James Hotel in SOHO at the coffee bar.
