  Terrible service. Good Food.
  
  The hostess greeted us with an attitude and made it seem like we needed a reservation to eat but then seated us right away. The restaurant was not full at all. It took over 10 minutes to be assisted by a server and the server never brought one of the orders out.
  
  Multiple people were helping our table so of course the gentleman that brought our check left what we didn't receive on the bill. He kindly gave us a new bill with the correct total when he was told. The food was delicious but sadly because of the service I will not be returning.

  Great for brunch before hitting up the cloisters. Staff are fairly competent. To get the most from your visit, be sure to make a reservation. Staff can become flustered when very busy. Overall great atmosphere food, drinks, coffee, and friendly yet stretched staff when busy.

  New leaf is a neat surprise Tucked away in the park surrounding the cloisters. Menu tends to be local with a lot of selections from the Hudson Valley with the mainstay focusing on meat poultry and fish.
  
  They also have catering and it's typical to find a wedding or some sort of formal event being held outside during the summer.

  This is one of the most transporting experiences that new york city has to offer. When you are here, it's very easy to forget that you are in the city. Solid food, good drinks, and excellent service.
