  The hotel is very easy to get to and the front desk area is big enough to accommodate large groups that are checking in while the hotel guests come and go. The room was decent sized for a NYC hotel. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Good water pressure and roomy. The restaurant is pretty good, don't recommend if you are on a diet as the majority of the sections are beef and or fried. It's a good burger though.

  Great location and nice hotel overall. Decent sized rooms. View is ok but better on higher floor and relative to where you are in the hotel. Has good housekeeping service. Front desk staff are decent with just one rude person that I spoke with over the phone. Most of them were courteous for the most part and answered questions. Starbucks, 2 restaurants and a FedEx copy print Centre are in the hotel building and free wifi only in the lobby, available in your room at a cost.

  The Marriott Downtown was recommended by family and our stay has been great! The location is in acceptable walking distance to MTA options, the view is nice from any direction, the staff is kind and courteous and the rooms have every expected amenity and more. This is our first trip to NYC and it could not have gone better. We look forward to many pleasant returns.

  My favorite Marriott hotel in NYC! The location is perfect.. Walking distance to the Hudson and battery park but also close to public transport. The staff is friendly and the view from the business lounge is unbeatable.
