  I was there for a baby convention so didn't get to see too much of the hotel itself. It seems nice enough. There wasn't much space dedicated to the convention itself which may have played a part in how many seminars they offered and how many vendors they had. The location is great, easy access to many theaters and restaurants.

  If I could give it lower than one star I would. So I stayed here for 4 nights & the price for each night was $200 for two beds which is reasonable. My flight got cancelled due to a snow storm the day we were supposed to check out. For 1 extra night they charged $379 plus tax which is outrageous & they just took advantage of the weather to rip people off. Really rude service when I tried to ask a question & the beds were really hard. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. And now that I'm checking the prices the day after, they are offering $161 for one night. Horrible hotel and rip off.

  Felt dirty, neglected, dated. Awful lobby scent.
  Generally, this is a dated hotel and also shows signs of neglect. It feels old and unclean, and I will not be returning. I had the sense that dark colors were chosen for curtains and the room's carpet as a ploy to hide filth. Elevators felt unsteady and not smooth. If muzak was playing, I could not hear it over the gears and pulleys trying bravely to move the old thing.
  
  The lobby is overly perfumed. It is not a light, pleasant scent, and it gave one of us a migraine. Although the room was uncomfortably warm, we were told the hotel's cooling system only works in the summer months.
  
  This is right off Times Square, but it feels impossible to get away from the craziness. The glare from billboards even invades your room's privacy. If being surrounded by illuminated ads is your thing, great, but a few blocks further out would be preferable for our next trip.
